Bio
I am in my third year of International Business, concentrating in Human Resources and minoring in Spanish. I chose to study at Carleton because of their unique International Business program. Business was the best fit for me coming out of high school, but I also love learning languages and travelling. The International Business program allows me to obtain a business degree, but also study a language and study abroad! I applied to the Peer Helper program at Career Services since it relates to my concentration in HR. Through the Peer Helper program I am hoping to learn more about different job markets, what to look for in a resume, and interview tips that I can apply to my coursework, as well as future employment in HR. I used the resources offered by Career Services myself to find a summer job, and it was very successful. Speaking from first-hand experiences, I think it is very important for Carleton students to be aware of all the services that Career Services offers and how they can use these resources to find their dream job or volunteer opportunity.
